Experience using Blog

I think that have been using the blog in the English class has a lot of benefits for our grammar and for our way to express what we think in the different topics of we talk. In the beginning I used to spend a lot of time thinking in what write and a lot more typing the letters in the keyboard, but now it’s really easier for me think quickly in English and then transcribe.

If I think in how much my writing skills have developed, I can say that constantly I'm learning new things and new ways to express one idea in a little few of words, the better part is when we review some sentences misspelled and there we have the opportunity of see our own mistakes, the most part of the time I think that the sentences doesn't have mistakes! So I learn much about it. In the future I would like to add other resources like videos or audios for show more about our daily life in an interactive way. Thinking in what else I would like to write about I would like write about books, because all the people have a favorite one and that can be interesting.

Remembering Hobbies

About my Hobby...

The last summer I used to do slackline ,because I had a lot of free time in my holidays  I started to do it because one day I went to a Sports Center with the purpose to do some sport . So I meet Juan Pablo that was my teacher of slackline , slackline is about balance you need to keep always a good posture and your view on the horizon while you are walking or balancing along a suspended length of flat webbing that is tensioned between two anchors. In this hobby you need to be really focus because when you are a beginner you lose the balance easily.

What I really enjoyed doing slackline was that it has a lot of benefits for your body and for your mind, for example helps you to

get a better straightening the spine and you could do it literally anywhere , preferably outdoor . I hope return in my winter holidays or in summer to do this hobby I remember that in something like two weeks I achieved advance very much indeed.

Favourite Subject

Every Tuesday at 8:30 am I go to my History, culture and habitat class.

 The course talks about what means architecture and how it has been develop along the history of the humanity, the class is ,in my case , in a normal classroom and the most part of the time teachers make you talk , to share what do you think or how you can make architecture in some little acts at day like I did the last May 28^th where I have to be architectural guide of “Palacio de los Tribunales de Justicia “ so that day I have been explaining to the people that this palace was built in the century of our country and has a particular design inspired in the old Greek culture , where the main buildings use columns Doric –Ionic . Other topics that we see in architecture are the different ways that architects use to project , like for example with Andrea Palladio born a new way of built based in values like , firmness (firmitas), utility (utilitas) , and beauty (venustas) he explains that in her book “I quattro libri dell'architettura “ ( the four books of architecture). I think that is a complete subject because all that we learn we can apply later in our workshop 

Let's talk about a person that I admire

Miguel Lawner Steiman is a chilean architect , he studied in University of Chile , was executive director of the Corporation of Urban Improvement during the government of the Popular Unit of Salvador Allende , until 1973 , then during the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet he was detained and imprisioned in Isla Dawson until their liberation and exile in Denmark.One of the most important projects that i know about Miguel is the development of social housing in differents parts of Chile
in special one of them located in Las Condes and is named Villa San Luis . When i began to investigate about that i saw the architecture like a powerfull social tool and change agent , in special Villa San Luis represent that we have to work together and share with the different social classes , the poor persons don't should be displaced to the periphery of our cities only for don't count with money necessary for a good living place , we have to include them even live near because we need each other , Miguel in their construtions search that , make us all part of the same city so in the future i pretend to work with that ideas too and make of the city a place with more comunities in their living ways.

Absence...

This blog will begin with the explanation of why I don`t went to my English class the last 25^th of May. Well how all the students of my faculty knows we have a very big social conscience so the Wednesday 24^th  of May there was a kind of vote to decide if we will go to the strike, so at the final of that day the decision of go to stroke was the most voted. As we all know when there’s a stroke nobody can be in class but in my case I had to present a big model of the area of Mercado Central  and Cal y Canto station  , so that day I was working on my project for get a good mark , I started to work with my group the Wednesday  , some of us don’t sleep , we spend more than one and a half day in the classroom B26 , at the final of the revision the teacher give us just a 3,5 so we were very sad for that .
